We would like to state that, following our repeated reminders, on the 04.04.2008 Dr Gaeta made out 8 invoices on account of Ortovet, 6 of which were backdated 2007 and one even dated December 2008.
To this day they have not been supported by the original sales vouchers yet (Ortovet’s invoices are enclosed).
Lamento Rumeno Onlus wishes in a prompt settlement of this matter in strict cooperation.
Keeping a clean behaviour and renewing our total willingness to supply any further explanation, we ask those working on the spot, especially the association Save the Dogs to forbear making baseless judgments and to get exhaustive information before issuing statements which do not correspond to reality.
What published by Save the Dogs on its web site towards Lamento Rumeno Onlus is totally inappropriate and offensive because it is a purely personal opinion, based on assumptions, which is expressed without any certain element to evaluate the matter between Lamento Rumeno Onlus and Ortovet.
The lack of confidence to which Save the Dogs refers is a baseless accusation because if there had not been confidence and estimation, Lamento Rumeno Onlus would have never sponsored Ortovet with 98.000,00 € in two years.
“The mistakes and the thoughtless actions” quoted by Save the Dogs in reference to the work made by Lamento Rumeno Onlus in Rumania would only have be corroborated if we had carried on our collaboration with Ortovet without expecting any receipt for the received amount and without controlling the sponsoring in progress.
As we said before, we would like to repeat that, within the full respect, transparency and correctness towards all those who have contributed to support the project in Rumania so far, Lamento Rumeno is fully entitled to expect the whole tax record as well as the detail of the veterinary services supplied by Ortovet.
